v0.8, 30 Apr 2008
This document is an attempt to provide a comprehensive guide to OpenEmbedded framework
from the first download of meta framework to the final system
installation, in other words, a step-by-step guide to customize a base
OpenEmbedded distribution by means of local overlay techniques. This guide uses a VIA motherboard (x86 based system) as target system for the OpenEmbedded output, therefore it can be used on any PC based system
for the practical purposes.
